It all Started with a Dream
Story Aglow
The Redeemed Christian Church of God Word Aglow Parish was established in 2014 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with a mission to share the light of God’s Word and transform lives through Christ. Originally meeting on Derek Street, the church found its current home at 221 Cathcart Street, affectionately known as the Tabernacle of Praise. This space has become a welcoming sanctuary where people gather to worship, learn, and grow in faith.
Our journey began when our pastor responded to God’s call to plant a church in Winnipeg. From those early days, Word Aglow has been a place where faith, fellowship, and community thrive. We continue to grow as a family, passionate about sharing God’s love and His truth with our city and beyond.
What We Believe
Beliefs Aglow
- We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God
- We believe that Jesus is the ONLY way to The Father.
- We believe in the Divine Trinity: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
- We affirm the divinity of Jesus Christ: His virgin birth, His life without sin, crucifixion, resurrection, ascension, and His promised return.
- We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in Tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.
- We believe in the Holy Communion as symbols of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, to be eaten in remembrance of Him as commanded in the Last Supper.
