Abraham built an altar and offered a sacrifice to God in his time in Bethel (Genesis 12:8) and then two generations later when Jacob slept on that same altar (Genesis 28:8-19), guess what, that altar was still alive and speaking. He encountered God on that altar and that triggered the fulfillment of his destiny. And because of a covenant that Abraham had with God, you get to declare today that Abraham’s blessings are yours.

Now we all know the devil steals these principles, so there are also altars that evil people in your lineage have activated through the sacrifice of blood and the like in exchange for life, power, fame and wealth that is still speaking against your destiny today, Isaiah 28:15 says: You boast, “We have entered into a covenant with death, with the realm of the dead we have made an agreement. When an overwhelming scourge sweeps by, it cannot touch us, for we have made a lie our refuge and falsehood our hiding place.”

These evil men made a covenant with the realm of the dead fully aware that the effect of the altars will not touch them, but their future generation. These altars then begin to speak in your lineage or bloodline in the form of negative patterns and curses, things do not go through as they should for example, they speak as premature death, barrenness, lust, addiction to pornography, drugs, alcohol, delay, joblessness, poverty, divorce, stagnation, diseases, sicknesses and strife and every other negative cycle you can think of. These altars are responsible for the dysfunction in your family, community and even nations.

The enemy holds on to the legal right it has over you through the evil covenant your ancestors have entered. These evil covenants and altars have dominated your life and well-being, and you might be a tongue-speaking Christian confessing that you are the head and not the tail, but your life is pointing to being the tail.

God respects covenants as the spirit realm is a legal realm, that is capable of justice, judgement, and equity and until you formally detach yourself from these altars andcovenants and bind the strongman behind these altars, you might continue to live a defeated life.

You might say that you’re born again, and those things do not count anymore over your destiny, I agree with you. Being born again is the first step to taking your victory.

But to be a consistent victor, you will need to build your own consecrated and consistent prayer altar backed with the power of the Holy Spirit and begin to legalize new patterns in your bloodline, to stop the powers of the enemy from dominating your family and to reclaim your bloodline for God.

Pastor has been teaching about revival, and this revival starts with you, God is always looking for men and women who will reclaim back bloodlines that have been set for destruction. He is looking for priest(s) who will build a prayer altar to nullify active altars speaking against their bloodlines and territories (Ezekiel 22:30).

Unfortunately, we cannot outsource this priestly rite to our pastors or just corporate prayer altars. Our pastors can organize corporate prayers that will give us victory over some areas, but to live a consistent victorious life, you will need your own consecrated prayer altar (2 Corinthians 10:3-4).

As you focus on the cross this week, commit to God to build a personal prayer altar, these altars might seem powerless or mechanical at first, but your constant sacrifice of consecration, praying, fasting, intercession and worship on that altar will eventually result to an encounter with God that will reveal strategies to give you victory and generations to come in your bloodline.
